Omega Speedmaster’s professional chronograph occupies a critical seat in the history of space exploration. From the beginning of the Gemini program in the mid-1960s to the current International Space Station program, the Speedmaster is the only equipment used in NASA’s many manned space programs. As early as the official approval, the astronauts in two single-mercury missions have chosen to wear Speedmaster watches.

The Speedmaster’s design is unique and very different from other chronograph watches. This watch is equipped with a black surface, luminous hands, tachymeter scale, waterproof case, spiral bottom cover, arc arched crystal, and additional movement protective inner cover, showing a strong personality. The iconic Speedmaster watch surface is equipped with a minute counter, hour counter, and small seconds dial. Press the button on the top of the watch side to start or stop the large chronograph second hand, and press the button on the bottom to return to zero.

Later, Omega launched the first Speedmaster watch. This watch is known for its high accuracy, ruggedness, and reliability, is easy to read and use, and is driven by the Swiss ETA movement. Except for a few minor technical improvements, this chronograph has not changed significantly since 1957.
